Saturday morning, and for some reason I could not sleep. So instead of tossing and turning I got dressed and went for a little drive to Wabamum Lake. Well 80km one way is a little drive in Alberta standards. I had no plans for a shoot… just something ad hoc. Since it was still dark at 5am in the morning, I decided to try some light painting. Basically you set the shutter speed to anything about 1 sec. Then you move the camera while the shutter is open. This creates some interesting results. Here are some that I think came out quite well.
