It was a sad day today. We had to say goodbye to our kitty. He’s been with us for the last 14 years.
Yoda
We named him Yoda, because when he was a young kitty his ears were almost twice the size of his head, and he looked like Yoda from StarWars. We picked him from a animal shelter at a local vet in Yellowknife NWT. All the other cats were cramming for attention, and he was the only one that was hiding in the back of the cage. We were told that people do not usually pick black cats, so being who we are, we immediately picked him.

He’s been a great part of our family and his memories will live for ever.

I remember when Yoda was a kitten, what a sweet heart.
Awww so sad but 14 yrs was a long time, just think of all the playful times u had
He was a cute kitten, wasn’t he? Then he grew into a monster of a cat (23 lb)
.. When he was younger he used to love to chase after sun reflections on the walls and could play for hours chatting with them 
Funny cat he was. And we will miss him…
Sorry! He was a true Yoda, smart and majestic and clownish at the same time, a very unique character, … he will be missed.
That he will. Too bad they live so short and break our hearts when leaving…
My heart goes out to you this weekend, it’s sad saying goodbye to a friend. You sure gave him a good life, sounds like you showered him with nothing but love. I am happy to know he shared his life with such a great and loving family.
