I have always been fascinated with fire.  The dance of the flame as it consumes it’s fuel, poetry in motion.  Tonight we decided to have dinner or supper as some may prefer, outside in our yard.  The weather was quite nice, albeit a little chilly, but a nice roaring fire soon fixed that.  What a wonderful time to spend with family sitting in front of a fire pit, and watching the flames dance, under a star studded sky.  Unfortunately it will probably be the last of the season.  I guess that also depends on the weather.

I managed to grab my camera almost at the end, when the flames are low, and I didn’t have to worry about melting my lenses.  Enjoy.
